You are judged by a number of different things in your life. For your financial life, you are judged by your credit report.
The credit report contains your all important credit score which is a three digit number that indicates to others how good you have been with your credit in the past. You need to have an idea about what your credit score is so that you will know if you need to take steps to help improve your score.
The best thing about your credit report is that you can get a free look at it from each of the three major credit bureaus once per year. This means that you have no reason not to take a few minutes out of your day to learn about the document that you will be judged by in your financial life.
All you have to do to view your credit report is to go online and enter some basic identification information about yourself. The information that you will provide will be in the answers to questions that they ask you. Typically they will ask you questions that only you should be able to answer. Once you have done this, you will have your credit report pop up on your computer screen.
Make sure that you use a computer that has printing abilities before you view your report so that you will be able to print it out for your records.
